Senator Paschal Mooney has warmly welcomed the approval of €60,000 by the Minister of Education Ruairi Quinn TD for a new extension to the Metalwork facilities at Drumshanbo Vocational School.
“As a member of the Board of Management I have been pursuing this application for some considerable time and I wish to thank the Minister personally, Sean Wynne Acting Principle, Cllr Francie Gilmartin, Chairman of the Board of Management for the valuable assistance in securing this much needed addition to my local school,” stated Senator Mooney.
The official announcement comes on top of a €300,000 four room extension which was officially opened by Minister Quinn in February this year.
“This latest allocation enhances the already excellent facilities at Drumshanbo Vocational School which caters for 360 pupils and is the jewel in the crown of second level education in Co Leitrim,” concluded Fianna Fail Senator Mooney.
