Vincent Leyden, Fenaghbeg, Foxfield was killed around 8pm on Wednesday, September 26 in an accident involving a tractor and farm equipment at Muckross, Fenagh.

An ambulance, two fire brigades and gardai attended the scene in Fenagh, but were unable to save Mr Leyden.

The deceased is a brother of Ballinamore PPS Principal Padraig Leyden and the late Sean Leyden, former County Leitrim football star.

Sincere condolences are offered to Vincent’s wife Joan, his daughters Davina and Janette and son Sean, and to his brothers, Padraig, Sylvester and Donal and to all extended members of the Leyden family.

As a mark of respect all activities the local GAA club and park were cancelled at the weekend.
