‘Ard na Spéire’, a special 10km & 4km run/walk will take place on Sunday next, February 24th in memory of the late Sandra Earley, Kiltubrid.
The run will begin at 2pm from The Sheemore Inn, Kilclare, with registration starting at 12.30 on the day. The route of the race goes towards Carrick-on-Shannon, turns left off the main road under Sheemore, from there it takes back roads, passes by Sandra’s own house and comes out at Letterfine, returning onto the main Carrick-Ballinamore Road.
Entry fee is €10 per adult/€15 per family with all funds raised going to The Heart Appeal at the Mater Foundation, Dublin.
This is a special heart screening clinic for family members who have lost a loved one to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.
Parking on the day will be available at Drumcong NS and Drumcong Church with a free shuttle bus provided. Parking will be available at Kilclare, however space may be limited depending on the crowd.
