Sean Quinn Jnr is due to appear before an Employment Appeals Tribunal this week to begin an unfair dismissal case against Quinn Insurance.
A secret recording is expected to be central to Mr Quinn’s claim that he was unfairly forced to accept redundancy. It is understood he will claim there was a policy of de-Quinning the insurance company after it was taken into administration in 2010 with the result that several of the children of Sean Quinn Snr were ousted from the firm. Sean Quinn Jnr was employed as director of claims at Quinn Insurance.
The case is due to open before an Employments Appeal Tribunal this Friday, May 3.
Sean Quinn Jnr is not expected to give evidence himself on that day, but will give testimony at a later date.
