Septic Tank inspections to
commence

The National Inspection Plan requires Leitrim County Council to carry out a minimum of 87 inspections before the end of 2014. The council inspections used to determine the potential risk posed by Domestic Waste Water Treatment Systems (DWWTS), leakages, discharge and surface water will commence in the coming weeks. The Lough Gill and Lough Melvin areas will form part of the inspections and householders will be contacts in advance of the assessment.
