23 homeless in Leitrim in last week of August as figures see a decrease

A total of 195 adults accessing emergency accommodation in Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon and Westmeath.

There were 23 homeless people recorded in Leitrim in the last week of August, the latest homeless report has revealed.

Homelessness in the Shannonside region has seen a reduction overall.

The findings were published this week by the Department of Housing, the details of which, have been published today and shows that there were a total of 195 adults accessing emergency accommodation in Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon and Westmeath during this period.

Of these, 23 were in Leitrim, 67 were in Westmeath,  22 were Roscommon recorded 22 and 19 were in Longford.
