Leitrim houses prices have risen significantly compared to last year

CSO figures have revealed that prices in county Leitrim have risen compared with this time last year with the median asking price in the county going from €185,500 to €201,000.

CSO figures have revealed that prices in county Leitrim have risen compared with this time last year with the median asking price in the county going from €185,500 to €201,000.

This represents a 8.35 per cent increase. Meanwhile, neighbours Roscommon's median asking price fellr from €255,000 to €223,500 and prices in Longford fell from €218,5000 to €196,000. 

Nationally, house prices have increased by 7.5% with the median cost of a home nationally standing at €380,000.
