A substantial former holiday village complex in North Leitrim has returned to the market by private treaty following a cancellation.

The former Breffni Holiday Village Complex in Dromahair, situated on approximately 4.7 hectares, has been listed by DM Auctions Ltd with an asking price of €1,200,000, presenting a prime investment opportunity.

The complex includes the lodge, a three-storey former hotel building consisting of a four-bedroom living quarters on the ground floor, two two-bedroom apartments on the first floor, two one-bedroom apartments on the second floor, and an additional separate one-bedroom apartment located to the rear of the lodge.

Also included are eight three-bedroom, two-storey houses built in 1983/1984; six one-bedroom, single-storey chalets constructed in the early 1990s; and a former French restaurant built in 1987/88, which benefits from its own separate entrance and ample car parking.

The village complex also contains the ruins of O’Rourke’s Castle and O’Rourke’s banqueting hall.

The River Bonet meanders through the site, which has four separate road entrances and is located close to amenities in Dromahair village.

All buildings are in a poor state of repair and require full refurbishment.
