RIP: Patricia (Patsy) Moran, Cortober Hill, Carrick on Shannon

Tributes have flooded in after the death of Patricia (Patsy) Moran, Cortober Hill, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Roscommon and late of Leitrim Village, Carrick on Shannon on 24th of December 2025, suddenly, at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mai. Deeply regretted by her brothers Noel and Cyril, sister-in-law Bernadette, niece Nicola, nephew Thomas, niece-in-law Lisa, grandnephew Shay, grandniece Ellie and her caring neighbours and friends.

Patricia will repose in the Patrician Hall, Cortober (N41 XR79) from 4 pm to 6 pm on Monday, December 29th. Funeral mass in St. Michael's church, Drumlion at 12 noon on Tuesday, December 30th. Patricia will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Carrick on Shannon.

The Moran family appreciate your support, sympathy and understanding at this time.

One message of condolence said: "We were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Patricia's sudden passing. Our condolences to Patricia's family and to her wonderful neighbours/friends on Cortober Hill, who were always kind and caring towards Patricia. Patricia was a eucharistic minister and church sacristan. We will remember you fondly, Patricia. May you rest in peace after a life well lived."
