Leitrim County Council have announced the details of Christmas tree recycling options that are available throughout January.
Trees can be deposited at two designated centres in Leitrim: the Mohill Civic Amenity Site and the Manorhamilton Civic Amenity Site.

Both of these sites accept trees on Friday and Saturday during January, including Friday January 2, 9 and 16 and Saturday 3, 10 and 17.

Though people are encouraged to leave trees outside of the site when it is closed.
Those dropping off trees are reminded to remove decorations before depositing their tree.
