Leitrim pub and shop seek approval for new facilities and expanded premises

A Leitrim business operating in the hospitality and retail sector has applied for planning permission for new works at the premises.

In their application, The Copper Still and Hunts Supermarket in Dromod are seeking retention of several changes that have already been carried out.

This includes retention of extensions, alterations and a beer garden at the existing pub and restaurant; retention of the change of use of the original living accommodation to a guest house, together with associated material alterations; retention of the constructed shop and off-licence; and retention of a storage shed to serve the retail unit and public house/restaurant.

In addition, they are seeking permission for new works, including a small extension to the rear of the shop and the erection of a pergola to the rear of the pub.

Furthermore, the application seeks permission to construct a new parking area to serve the premises, with a new access onto the public road, along with all associated site development works.
