Leitrim residents advised of water outage following unplanned power cut

Uisce Éireann have advised that a water outage is currently affecting South Leitrim as a result of an unplanned power cut.

The disruption to supply is impacting Cloone and surrounding areas, with repair works scheduled to continue until 5pm today, Wednesday, February 25.

Uisce Éireann are recommending that customers allow three to four hours following the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return to normal.

Members of the public are advised to note the following reference number and enter it into the search bar on water.ie for the latest updates: LEI00107489.

Leitrim residents can also remain informed by signing up to receive notifications via the Leitrim Alerts app, which provides alerts from Uisce Éireann, Leitrim County Council and An Garda Síochána. The service is free to join at leitrimalerts.ie.
