Residents of Leitrim are being invited to share their views on the future of sport and wellbeing in the county.
A number of public consultations are set to take place as Leitrim Sports Partnership begins developing the new Leitrim Local Sports Plan.
The plan will help guide the future direction of sport, physical activity, wellbeing and health across the county.
Two public consultations have been announced. The first will take place in the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon on Tuesday, March 10 from 7pm to 9pm. The second will be held in the W8 Centre in Manorhamilton the following day, Wednesday, March 11, also from 7pm to 9pm.
Registration for the Carrick-on-Shannon consultation is available here, and Manorhamilton registration can be found at this link.

The consultation is open to everyone, including individuals, groups, clubs and organisations.
“This is your opportunity to help shape the future of sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing in County Leitrim,” said a post on Leitrim Sports Partnership’s Facebook.
“We want to hear your views, ideas, and experiences so that the new Strategic Plan reflects the needs and priorities of people and communities across the county.
“Please come along, share your views, and be part of shaping the future of sport and physical activity in Leitrim.”
In January, Leitrim Sports Partnership received €226,000 in funding to support the continued delivery and expansion of a wide range of programmes across the county, with a strong focus on inclusion, increasing participation among older adults, and improving opportunities for women and girls to take part in sport and physical activity.
