Manorhamilton St Patrick's Parade

Kinlough

Kinlough will host a very special St. Patrick's Parade this year. First in the Village’s history and also the earliest one in the country this year!

Saint Patrick will be making Kinlough his first appearance of the year when he leads out the parade at the stroke of Midnight on the 17th.

Floats are to gather at Kinlough Community Centre at 11 pm on Tuesday the 16th, where there will also be music and Tea afterwards at the community centre.​

Cloone

Cloone will hold its first ever St. Patrick's Parade this St Patrick’s Day, kicking off at 5 pm on Tuesday.

Expect Ice Cream, Face Painting, and fun.

The exact route of the parade is yet to be announced.

Drumshanbo

Drumshanbo’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set to kick off at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17th.

The procession will be led off by local sports stars Rikki Wynne and Eddie McGowan, acting as grand marshals on the day.

The parade, which will enter town from the Carrick Road, will travel down Main Street and head up Church Street. 

Float participants are asked to line up at Corryard Wood by 3:30 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded for the Best Commercial Float, Most Entertaining Float, and Best Foot Float, while there will also be music on the Main Street with a DJ performing on the High Street stage at 3 p.m. 

Carrick-on-Shannon

Carrick on Shannon will hold its parade at 1:00 pm on St Patrick’s Day.

The parade is an extra special one, celebrating their crowning as Ireland’s Tidiest Town this year.

With the parade also being featured on RTÉ, shops, pubs, and hotels along the route are encouraged to decorate their premises and compete for the Best Window Display prize.

Manorhamilton

Manorhamilton are ahead of the curve this year, holding its parade on Sunday, the 15th, starting from the Church Car Park at 5pm.

The parade is free to enter, and there will be cash prizes up for grabs on the day.

Drumkeerin

Drumkeerin’s parade will also be held before St Patrick’s Day on Sunday the 15th. The parade will take off at 5pm.

Fenagh

Fenagh will host their parade through the village on St Patrick’s Day at 2pm with food after in Molly’s Bar and Lounge.

Newtowngore

Newtowngore’s St Patrick’s Day Parade will be on Tuesday, 17th at 4.30 pm, but they will kick off their St Patrick’s Celebrations on Sunday with a cake sale at Drumeela in Teach Duchais after 10 am Mass. 

There will be a kids disco and magician from 4.30pm to 6pm in Gorby’s Lounge, The Basskillers for the adults from 7pm to 9pm.

Prizes for the top floats, raffles, plus live music on the night.

Leitrim Village

St Patrick’s Day in Leitrim Village parade will kick off at 3pm on St Patrick’s Day, with all invited to join in the colour and fun.

Dromahair

This year’s St Patrick’s Day parade in Dromahair is themed, all creatures great and small.

The parade gets underway at 4pm on Tuesday, March 17, with music from DJ Baldy Mick, followed by a Ceili at the clubhouse.

Aughavas

Aughavas will hold their parade on Tuesday, 17th at 12.30 pm, with prizes for the best floats and free food for everyone afterwards.

Music will be held in The Dugout from 1.30pm by Peter McKenna, followed by the Hot Pokers at 4pm.

Bring the kids for face painting, balloon modelling, and a magic show after the parade in The Dugout.

Ballinamore

All floats and entries are welcome at Ballinamore’s St Patrick’s Parade, which will begin at 4pm on Tuesday.

Keshcarrigan

Keshcarrigan are celebrating its 25th year of hosting its St. Patrick's Parade, with the theme this year being heritage to celebrate the village winning the All-Ireland Heritage award.

 The procession itself will get underway from 2pm, being led by the Kiltubrid Pipe Band.
