Two men have been charged following the recovery of four suspected stolen motorbikes in Co Leitrim.

The arrests came after Gardaí carried out a stop and search of a vehicle in the Drumhass area on Thursday, March 20, 2026.

During the operation, officers recovered four motorbikes believed to have been stolen.

The two men, both aged in their 40s, were arrested at the scene and have since been charged. They are due to appear before Carrick-on-Shannon District Court at a later date.

Gardaí have confirmed that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
