The Mohill Community and Sports Hub have applied for permission to construct a new 50 metre by 34 metre synthetically surfaced sport pitch

The Mohill Community and Sports Hub have applied for permission to construct a new 50 metre by 34 metre synthetically surfaced sport pitch as well as erect flood lighting, sport fencing with ball stop netting and all ancillary site development works at Coolabaun, Mohill, Leitrim.

The application was received by Leitrim County Council planning section on the 15 April this year and an inspection of the site will be carried out within the minimum period of five weeks for deciding on this application. In the event that the Site Notice does not comply, the application will be declared invalid and returned.

Synthetic pitches provide a consistent playing surface regardless of weather conditions. They are not affected by rain, snow, or extreme heat, ensuring that athletes can practice and compete year-round without disruptions due to adverse weather.
