More water outages in Leitrim

Water was out at Eslin Bridge on Bank Holiday Monday due to a trunk water main burst.

The areas which are affected frequently with a burst main include Eslinbridge to Drumdoo to Kildoo to Ussuan. Group water schemes were all affected.

There was also reduced water pressure in Cappagh, Sliabh View, Shannagh Grove and Boeshill.

New line connection - Jamestown -Mountcampbell -tomorrow 10th May.

Due to the facilitation of connecting the Jamestown watermain supply with the new trunk main at Mountcampbell, Drumsna there will be a necessary water outage on Thursday May 10, from 10am to 2pm.

The areas affected will be: Mountcampbell to Jamestown including Rosderra meats and all associated group water schemes in this area.

LCC Water Services maintenance crew will assist with the connection on site to ensure water supply is restored as soon as possible. Leitrim County Council, on behalf of Irish Water, would like thank you for your co-operation and regret any inconvenience caused.
