Gardai investigate Boyle ATM robbery

Boyle gardai are viewing CCTV footage in a bid to identify a gang who broke into an ATM at a service station in Boyle on Monday night last.

Boyle gardai are viewing CCTV footage in a bid to identify a gang who broke into an ATM at a service station in Boyle on Monday night last.

The intruders broke into a service station on Shop Street, Boyle some time between 11pm on Monday, October 8 and 7am on Tuesday, October 9.

They then broke into the ATM.

Gardai carried out a forensic examination of the scene and they are now viewing CCTV footage from the local area.

Anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area is to contact them on (071) 9664620.

Locally gardai are also urging people to be wary of counterfeit €50 notes which are in circulation in the local area.
