The funeral of a Gortletteragh man who was tragically killed in a road traffic accident last week took place at the weekend.
Damien Rogan lost his life on Wednesday last after the motorbike he was travelling on collided with a jeep and trailer at the townland of Longstone on the R202 between Fenagh and Ballinamore.
The 28-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene before his body was removed to Sligo Regional Hospital where a post-mortem took place on Thursday last.
The funeral of the Tooman native took place at St Michael’s Church in Bornacoola with burial taking place at Gortletteragh Cemetery afterwards.
Damien is the youngest son of Eamon and Helen Rogan. He is survived by his brother Adrian, sisters Maria and Edel and his girlfriend Vanessa.
