The family and friends of Childhood Cancer Survivor, Isobel Cullinan are delighted to announce the 2nd annual fabulously fun fairy & pirate fundraiser event in aid of St. John’s Ward, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
The family event will take place at Strokestown Park Estate on Sunday, 7th June from 1pm – 5pm.
Strokestown Park’s Woodland will again be magically transformed into a fairy woodland park for the day and children will enjoy a whole host of fun activities including a fairy globe, pirate ship, fairy & pirate workshops, a fairy outdoor cinema, face painting, bouncy castles, a fun raffle, fairy dancing with Youth Ballet West and prizes for the best magical costume for both boys and girls on the day.
Isobel (IzzyB to her friends), who was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumour at the age of 21 months, received wonderful care from the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of St Johns Ward OLCHC. This event is being arranged to raise much needed funds and awareness to help improve services for children affected by cancer and assist vital services for children and families affected by this disease.
Last year’s Fairy Day was a phenomenal success, raising over €10,000 for the ward.
The Irish Fairy Door Company will also be attending the event to entertain children with Tales of Fairy adventures in the Fairy Woodland.
Entry for this fantastic event is just €10 for children, €35 for a family of 4 or more and adults and under 2’s are free. All proceeds from the entry fee and raffle will go directly to Haematology/Oncology unit, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin.
All events are being kindly donated or sponsored by local business.
Our Main sponsors whom we would like to give a huge thank you to are: Mercury Engineering, Irish Life plc. & Strokestown Park for allowing the use of their beautiful venue.
