Frank Feighan TD has said that he has been informed by the HSE that they will shortly have a preferred contractor in place to build the state-of-the-art Primary Care Centre for Boyle and surrounding areas.

The Roscommon/South Leitrim representative said the HSE has informed him that the preferred developer will be in place by the end of this month.

It is anticipated that construction on the grounds of the Plunkett Nursing Home will then commence six months after this preferred bidder is selected, which would be approximately November 2015. When complete, the 17,000 square foot two-storey facility will include GP suites, consulting rooms, physiotherapy and occupational therapy suites along with a separate dental wing.
