Carrick Gardai investigate number of thefts

Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are investigating a number of incidents of theft over the past week.

On Tuesday, September 4 a white Toyota Hiace Van, 90 D 16030, was stolen from Killegar, Carrigallen. In the same incident farm equipment was also taken and it is believed the van was used in the transportation of the equipment.

Between 2am and 6am a house in Keshcarrigan was broken into and the keys of a vehicle were stolen. It was discovered the following day, crashed, within a few miles of where it was taken from.

On Sunday last, September 9 a group of foreign nationals entered a business premises in the Tooman area of Mohill and a quantity of cigarettes was stolen.
