The Leitrim Observer’s Summer of Love campaign has caught the imagination of companies across the county - and now readers can join in the fun with our Longest Day promotion.
Leitrim Observer staff will be going to be out and about throughout Friday, June 21, shooting videos of everything from sunrises to people walking in our parks. We’ll then package them together and make them available to view on our website.
But we also want to give you a chance to take part.
All you need to do is take a short video clip - 20 or 30 seconds (on a mobile phone will do) - and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. It can be anything from a short clip of your local football team, to some of the beautiful local scenery, or simply you and friends getting together to show the spirit of Co Leitrim online.
We’ll feature as many as we can on our website at www.leitrimobserver.ie and you can also follow what we’re up to on Twitter using the #longestlocalday.
As it’s a project to mark the longest day of the year, all videos must be taken on Friday, June 21 and, because we want to have them online that evening, they need to be with us no later than 2pm.
Go on, make sure you make you mark in our Longest Day!
