Boost for creative industries and artists
in the border region

The Harnessing Creativity Project is looking for 30 creative industries working in areas ranging from architecture to engineering; design to photography & film; arts to craft and music to new technology to take part in three Creative Labs, to take place in Fermanagh, Tyrone and Leitrim, April – September 2014.

The Harnessing Creativity Project is looking for 30 creative industries working in areas ranging from architecture to engineering; design to photography & film; arts to craft and music to new technology to take part in three Creative Labs, to take place in Fermanagh, Tyrone and Leitrim, April – September 2014.

The labs will comprise of 8 days of collaborative group sessions with like-minded creative practitioners from the region, with a view to helping you become more confident and effective in working collaboratively with both the creative sector and wider businesses, as well as developing ideas from concept stage through to a final product.

The labs will help identify and approach suitable businesses, pitch ideas and negotiate terms, avail of specialist monitoring and take forward ideas into marketable products.

Each participant will also be able to avail of a budget of €1,500 to fund expenses such as specialist equipment hire, materials or workspace.

Harnessing Creativity has received funding of €799,880 through the European Union’s INTERREG IVA Programme.
