The Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) is urging the public to support Early Childhood Ireland’s National Pyjama Day this Friday, March 7th.

Over 40,000 pre-school children will wear their pyjamas into their childcare facilities this Friday to raise much needed funds for the IHF’s Hospice Home Care for Children programme.

Under the Hospice Home Care for Children programme - which is operated in partnership with the Health Service Executive - eight Children’s Outreach Nurses provide support to families caring for their seriously ill child at home. The programme also funds a Consultant with a special interest in paediatric palliative care at Our Ladies Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
