Northern Ireland’s Minister of the Environment, Mark Durkan is expected to shortly make an announcement on whether Tamboran Resources will be permitted development rights at the quarry site in Belcoo, Co Fermanagh.

If granted, this would give Tamboran the green light to drill a single 750m-deep bore hole at the quarry to obtain core sampling for testing.

Anti-fracking have been maintaining a constant vigil oustide the quarry site over the past few weeks.

An Ecumenical service will take place at the site with local bands from Letterbreen and Florencecourt at 7pm this evening (Monday).

Everyone is encouraged to come out and show their support in this peaceful protest.
