Gardai make appeal following thefts

Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are appealing for the assistance of the public in relation to a number of thefts.

Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are appealing for the assistance of the public in relation to a number of thefts.

On Tuesday last, April 24 a quantity of diesel was stolen in Gorvagh during the hours of darkness, while on April 26 beer kegs were stolen in Carrick-on-Shannon and Ballinamore.

Also on Thursday, April 26 a cast iron bath used to give cattle access to water was stolen from a field outside Ballinamore between 5pm and 9am the following morning.

In the early hours of Friday, April 27 two powerwashers were stolen in separate incidents in the Gowel/Kilnagross area.

Anyone with any information in relation to these incidents is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station at (071) 9620021.
