The Leitrim Sports Partnership is delighted to offer yet another exciting initiative for women “Meet and Train Bootcamps for Females”. The project will offer women the opportunity to take part in a number of activities over the 6 weeks. There will be an optional weigh in for all participants on the programme.
This programme will be a 6 week custom designed outdoor exercise project that will be delivered in 4 venues, Ballinamore, Carrick, Carrigallen and Mohill. We want women in Leitrim to take control of your exercise and your life, stop making excuses and start making progress. Exercise can help you live longer, can help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, fights fat, helps you feel and look better, and protect against certain medical conditions. Its helps you cope with stress, improves your mood and your mind.
We are striving to provide a non-intimidating, friendly and approachable atmosphere. We want to ensure everyone feels confident doing their workouts. The programme is designed so that lots of new techniques will be learned and there is lots of variety so that you stay making progress. It’s a fitness based boot camp including running, circuits and toning. The programme is designed for women of all ages regardless of fitness levels. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends “have fun, get fit and keep fit”.
Ballinamore Bootcamp will be starting on Tuesday morning the 17th July @ 10.00am at the Sean o’ Heslin’s GAA facility. Registration will be held at 9.30am at the GAA grounds.
Carrick on Shannon Bootcamp will be starting on Friday 13th July @ 6.00 – 7.00pm in the People’s Park, Carrick on Shannon. (The People’s Park is in between the N4 Dublin’s roundabout and the Bank of America building). Registration will be held in the Leitrim County Council building on Thursday 12th @ 6.0opm
Carrigallen Bootcamp will be starting on Monday 16th @6.30pm in the Carrigallen GAA facility. Registration will be held @ 6.00 – 6.30pm at the GAA grounds.
Mohill, Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, starting Friday 13th July 7 -8pm, registration area will be at the wooden steps beside the grounds to Lough Rynn Castle Hotel from 6.30 on the evening.
The programme is being funded under the Irish Sports Council’s Women in Sport initiative and the HSE and so the fee to participants is €20 for the 6 weeks. The programme will be delivered in Ballinamore, Carrick on Shannon, Carrigallen and Lough Rynn Castle Hotel, Mohill.
