Kilmore Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lough Derg for the Year of Faith: On Tuesday the 27th of August from 9.00am - 4.00pm. This is a one day retreat for adults which does not require fasting or walking bare foot and is ideal for those who are unable to do the traditional three day pilgrimage. The cost of the pilgrimage is €40 but reductions in this cost may be available depending on the size of the group from the parish. The price includes boat, tea and coffee, services and lunch. Places must be secured by the parish on or before Friday 9th August. Dromahair Library: To promote Summer Reading, Dromahair Library is creating a tree with lots of leaves. Every community is creating one, so let’s make the Dromahair one special, to create the tree, children must do a lot of reading. The best readers will be awarded a certificate and medal at a special ceremony. To get involved, just complete the membership form and every book a child reads will result in a leaf being put on the tree along with the child’s name. Dromahair library opening hours: Tuesday 12.30pm – 6.00pm and Friday usual time from 2.30pm – 8.00pm. The library closes for a short break each day between 4.00pm – 4.30pm.

Exercise with Sue: Boxercise with Sue on Monday’s at 7.15p.m. Followed by Ladies Fun Fitness at 8 p.m. includes aerobics focusing on the bum, tummy, thighs and bingo wings and a deep stretch to help you relax and unwind. Why not try both classes at a discounted price. Boxercise is also on, on Thursdays at 6.45p.m. Classes are held in the Depot, Dromahair.

Together One Voice: Come and join ‘Together One Voice’ an ever-expanding Community Choir, in the Glens Centre Manorhamilton. All the singing is taught by ear without sheet music; we cover a wide range of uplifting songs and styles from around the world, from simple chants to more complex pieces in three and four part harmony. Singing is good for the soul they say; it makes you feel great. Classes are on Monday’s from 7.00 - 9.00 pm. North Leitrim Athletics Club: Training with the North Leitrim Athletics Club continues every Monday at the St. Clare’s Comprehensive Gym Manorhamilton from 7-8pm. Athletics is great way to keep fit and make new friends so why not go along.
Tennis Coaching in Killargue: Coaching continues on Thursdays and will run right through until the end of September. Sessions will take place at 6pm and 7pm. Each session costs €5. There’s a club membership fee of €25 per family per annum payable at the outset but come along to the court and discuss how this might be paid if there’s a difficulty.
