Race Night

Rossinver Youth and Community Project are holding a Race Night, in ‘’the Home Bar’’, Rossinver on Friday February 25th at 9:30pm approx. Prizes galore. Please come along and suppot, a great night’s fun guaranteed.


Defibrillator Group AGM

Dromahair Defibrillator Group is holdings its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 22nd February 2011 at 8pm in The Depot. Any one interested in CPR/Defibrillator Training please contact Ann at 085 8164987.

Development Association AGM

Killargue Development Association will be holding it’s Annual General Meeting on 21st February 2011 at Killargue Comunity Centre commencing at 8.30pm. All welcome so please come along.


Community Council AGM

Jamestown Community Council are holding their Annual General Meeting in the Community Centre on Monday, 21st of March. Everyone is welcome to come along, new members would be great, we need all the help we can get, thanks.

Dinner Dance a success

St Mary’s Dinner Dance was a huge success on Saturday last, a great night was had by all.


Eslin GAA Dinner Dance

Eslin GAA are holding their dinner dance in the Landmark Hotel on Saturday, 5th March, Leitrim senior team manager Mickey Moran will present medals to the Eslin junior championship winners 2010 and the St Manachans under 21 championship winners 2010. St Patrick’s Day Parade

A meeting will be held on Thursday night the 17th February at 9.30pm in St Joseph’s Centre to make plans for this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade. Please come along and have your say and help make this year’s parade bigger and better.

New business

Best of luck to Leitrim Indoor Shooting who have set up businness in the village beside Gibbons Meats. In times of job losses it is great to see new a business setting up in the village.


Card Game

Newbridge Schoolhome Card Game continues every Friday night 9pm. Good prizes on the night. All welcome.


Oliver The Musical

Oliver the Musical will be presented by St. Clare’s Comprehensive, Manorhamilton on Wednesday, 16th February to Saturday, 19th February (inclusive). Matinee on Wednesday, 16th February at 11am. Dartry Delights reopens

The Dartry Delights Coffee Shop in the Dartry Centre reopens for business on Thursday next, February 17th under new management. It’s great to see this facility up and running again. Good luck to all concerned. Please note that the Centre will be open for meetings, etc as usual.
