Kilclare National School Reunion: A meeting was held in the Sheemore Lounge, Kilclare on Monday, June 10th to discuss the possibility of organising a reunion as it is the 120th anniversary of the school opening. A good attendance showed great interest in the project. The next meeting will be held on July 15th at 9pm at the same venue. At this meeting it is hoped to elect a committee to plan the reunion, fundraiser, plan entertainment and research material for a booklet that we hope to comply on the school’s history. We are calling on all past pupils and relatives to lend old photographs or any memorabilia which we can use for the booklet. All material loaned will be returned safely. Now that the idea has been motted, an even better attendance will be appreciated on July 15th. Do come along, renew old acquaintances and maybe make new friends.
