Marriage: The marriage took place on Saturday June 29thin St Mary’s Church, Gortletteragh of Margaret Reilly, Cloontubrid and Colm Farrell, Colmcille. Celebrant at the marriage ceremony was Rev. John Quinn P.P. Maid of Honour was Catriona Reilly, sister of the bride and the bridesmaids were her two friends, Siobhan Meade and Marie Farrell. Brother of the groom Seamus Farrell was Groomsman while the Bestmen were his two other brothers, Aidan and John. The lovely wedding reception was held in the Mullingar Park Hotel where the guests danced the night away to Busy Fingers, who also performed the beautiful church music and song. The couple are honeymooning in Florida and the Caribbean. We wish Margaret and Colm many years of health and happiness in their married lives.
Prayer Service: A short prayer service to include the rosary and Pro life novena, for the success of the pro life campaign, will take place in St Mary’s church Gortletteragh on this Saturday night at 9pm.Everyone is encouraged to attend .

Fr Gerry’s 40th Jubilee: Parish priest of Bornacoola Fr. Gerry O’Brien celebrated 40 years of priesthood recently and to mark the occasion on Friday next July 12th Fr Gerry will celebrate Mass at 8pm in St Michael’s Church, Bornacoola, following that there will be a gathering of parishioners and friends for some refreshments in Bornacoola Community Centre. All are welcome.
