Arigna Cemetery Sunday: Arigna Cemetery Sunday takes place on Sunday July 28th at 1:30pm with Mass in Arigna Church followed by the blessing of the graves. Please note that there will be no 10:30am Mass on that Sunday July 28th in Arigna.
Kilronan Cemetery Sunday: On Sunday August 25th beginning with Mass in St. Lasair’s Well at 12 noon followed by the blessing of the graves in Kilronan Cemetery.

St. Ronan’s GAA Club: We will be doing a sponsored Croagh Patrick climb in August and are looking for volunteers to climb with us. St. Ronan’s Lotto: There was no winner of the lotto jackpot when the draw was held last weekend. The numbers drawn were 2, 14, 21, 29. Arigna Quiz: As part of the Arigna Gathering week, the Arigna Heritage Group are holding a table quiz in the Miner’s Bar on Wednesday, July 31st starting at 9:30pm. Harp Festival Lecture: The lecture at the O’Carolan Harp Festival to be held in Kilronan Castle on Monday, August 4th will be given by Mr Alan Tongue. The title of the lecture is “At home with Josie McDermott”. Alan Tongue conjures up a musical afternoon in October 1980. Alan Tongue, conductor and former BBC producer will lay a wreath at the grave of Turlough O’Carolan at 11am. The Annual Summer School of Traditional Music, Song and Dance will commence on Monday July 29th. A big number of enquiries have already been received. This year our summer school is Department of Education approved for primary school teachers. This is a major boost for this year’s events.
