11 people fined by Leitrim court for not having a TV licence

The fines were issued for not having a TV licence

A number of people appeared before Judge Sandra Murphy at Manorhamilton District Court on January 11, 2023 on the charge of not having a TV licence.

Martin Morrisey, 12 Gublawn, Rossinver was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 27, 2022.
An Post TV Licence Inspector Michael Reilly said the defendant admitted to not having a TV licence.


Anna Brett, 3 Churchfield, Dromahair was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 12, 2022.


Brendan Fallon, 36 Sheena, Drumkeerin was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 23, 2022.


Anna Lee McDonagh, 45 The Acres, Dromahair was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 21, 2022.


Ryan Kerina, 2 Windmill Park, Drumkeerin was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 21, 2022.


Sarah O’Leary, 27 The Acres, Dromahair was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 18, 2022.


Sarah Spear, 60 Clooneen Park, Manorhamilton was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 7, 2022.


Sigeida Frvoliene, 8 Gleann Dara, Manorhamilton was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 5, 2022.


Noreen McTiernan, 21 Hillside View, Killargue, Dromahair was convicted and fined €160 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 13, 2022.


William Kelly, 2 Castle Court, Dromahair was convicted and fined €80 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 12, 2022.
The court heard Mr Kelly did take out a TV licence and the loss of revenue to the State was €80. He was given six months to pay the fine.


Margaret Granaghan, 14 Taobh na hAbhann, Manorhamilton was convicted and fined €107 plus €75 costs for no TV licence on May 10, 2022.
The court heard a TV licence was taken out. She was given six months to pay the fine.
