Water supply disruptions expected in parts of Leitrim due to burst main

Repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions in Manorhamilton, Glenwood, Amorset and surrounding areas of Leitrim, with works scheduled to continue until 3pm on April 2.

Water supply disruptions may take place today, April 2, in areas of North Leitrim while repairs are ongoing.

Uisce Éireann is advising that repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Manorhamilton, Glenwood, Amorset and surrounding areas in Leitrim.

The works are scheduled to continue until 3pm on Thursday, April 2.

Uisce Éireann is advising customers to allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.

Customers affected can enter reference number LEI00109498LA01 into the search bar on water.ie to get updates on the supply disruptions.

Leitrim residents can stay informed about alerts affecting the county, such as water outages, by signing up for Leitrim Alerts at leitrimalerts.ie, which provides notifications via SMS and email.
