Gardai investigating a violent incident at a restaurant in Dublin on Christmas Eve have arrested a fourth suspect.
Two men died following the incident that occurred at a premises at Main Street, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 at around 8pm on December 24 - sparking a major garda investigation.
One of the men died from gunshot wounds while the second sustained serious stab wounds.
A number of suspects are currently before the courts and investigating gardai have now confirmed a fourth arrest was made this Wednesday morning.
"Investigating gardaí have arrested and detained a male under section 30 Offences Against the State Act, 1939, as amended. The male is being questioned at a garda station in west Dublin," said a spokesperson.
It's understood the latest arrest is in relation to the wider investigation into all of the circumstances.
Separate incident rooms, each led by a Senior Investigating Officer, have been established by gardai.
