Gardaí have confirmed that a man (in his 60s) is scheduled to appear before the Waterford District Court this Thursday at 10:30am as part of an ongoing investigation.
The man was arrested this Tuesday, after the robbery of a business premises in Arundel Square, Waterford.
He has been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Eastern Region.
Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.
Any pedestrians or road users who were in the vicinity of Arundel Square shopping district at the time of the incident and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
