Gardaí in Cork have seized a learner drivers car as they were caught speeding in a "built-up area" of the city unaccompanied.
The driver also had no insurance, tax or NCT, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána shared to X (formerly Twitter) saying: "Buyer’s regret? Gardaí in Cork city spotted this car speeding in a built-up area.
"The driver had bought the car just a few minutes previously but had no insurance, tax or NCT and was driving solo on a learner permit.
