Man arrested in connection to 2017 shooting which killed Jamie Tighe Ennis

Gardaí have confirmed that a man has been arrested as part of the murder investigation into the fatal shooting of Jamie Tighe Ennis in Coolock in October 2017.

24-year-old Jamie Tighe Ennis was killed in the shooting which occurred in the early hours of the morning on 28 October 2017 on Moatview Avenue, Priorswood. 

Four men and a woman were arrested in connection to the shooting a year later in October 2018.

Now, a man in his 50s has been arrested on Wednesday morning, 26 February and has since been charged. He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Wednesday afternoon. 

Gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
