A month-long search for a missing 24-year-old man has been stood down following the discovery of a body.
Eamon Tsekiri was reported missing from the Sheriff Street area of Dublin 1 on Sunday, February 23.
He was last seen at around 5am on Sunday morning in the Sheriff Street and IFSC areas.
A statement from An Garda Síochána at the time said: "Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Eamon Tsekiri (24) who is reported missing from the Sheriff Street Dublin 1 area since Sunday 23rd February 2025.
"Eamon is described as being approximately six foot in height, of slim build with black hair and brown eyes.
"Gardaí and Eamon’s family are concerned for his well-being," the statement added.
In an update issued this morning, Friday, gardaí said: "Following the discovery of a body of male in Dublin and subsequent inquires, the missing person appeal in respect of Eamon Tsekiri (24) who is reported missing from the Sheriff Street area of Dublin 1 on Sunday 23rd February 2025, has been stood down.
"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance."
