Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end, isn’t just making waves on the NFL field he’s also raising eyebrows with his fiery sideline exchanges. During Sunday night’s 22-9 win over the New York Giants, Kelce and coach Andy Reid were caught on camera in a heated discussion.

The moment which looked intense from an outsiders perspective, called for a more lighthearted response from Reid, who joked afterward: “Listen, he’s an emotional guy he’s Irish.”

While there is no hard evidence that Travis is in fact in anyway connected to Ireland , his sporting ability and romantic involvement with global superstar Taylor Swift means we wont deny him.

Reid pointed out, the sideline sparks are all part of his passion for the game. “I love Travis’ passion, so I’m OK with that,” Reid said, adding that Kelce knows when to push and when to back off.

Weather he is officially Irish or not , it seems that Kelce brings a uniquely Irish flair to his play
