Conor McGregor is reportedly skipping speaking to Dana White and going straight to Donald Trump in an attempt to appear on the card for the potential UFC fight night in the White House.

McGregor has claimed he is in negotiations with the American President's administration.

The unconfirmed White House fight night is expected to take place next summer and the Irish fighter has made it known that he wants to be part of it.

McGregor has insisted that if he is to take part, he will be fighting his long-term rival Michael Chandler, according to the Irish Independent.

UFC President, Dana White, has been in talks with Donald Trump about planning the fight night, but McGregor has bypassed him and gone straight to Trump in an attempt to feature.

“I’m not negotiating with the UFC on behalf of myself for this fight like usual. I'm negotiating with the United States of America on behalf of Ireland for this fight,” McGregor said.

The prospect of a UFC fight night at the White House comes after Trump said he wanted to celebrate 250 years of America's existence by hosting a series of fights on the lawn.

Dana White, who is a friend of Trump, seems to be fully on board and even shared mock-up photos of an Octagon on the South Lawn.

If McGregor is to take part, he wants $100 million and 100 US 'Golden Visas.'

It would also be his first fight since he broke his leg in the bout against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
