A man has been arrested after another man died in a Co Wexford crash.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the fatal crash, which happened near Drinagh in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The crash, which involved a passenger van and a jeep, occurred on the N25 at Ballykelly at approximately 1.10am.
The driver of the van, a man in his 60s, was fatally injured.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to the mortuary at Wexford General Hospital where a post-mortem examination was scheduled.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was brought to Wexford General Hospital for treatment to a non-life-threatening injury.
A man aged in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of offences under the Road Traffic Act.
He was detained at a garda station in Wexford under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He can be held for up to 24 hours, excluding breaks.
The road was closed and the scene was preserved for a forensic investigation.
