RIP Kerry Corcoran
A young mother has tragically passed away after a "long courageous battle" with an illness, leaving many people devastated.
Kerry Corcoran was from Ardcost Cross, Portmagee in Kerry and Ballincollig in Cork and she died peacefully on Wednesday, 1st of October 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Kerry will be dearly missed by her devoted husband Dhani, precious daughter Maya, her parents Julie and Kieran, sister Mikayla, brother Kieran Jnr, their partners Paddy and Emma, mother-in-law Leonie, father-in-law Daithi, brother-in-law Dylan, sister-in-law Aoife, her aunties, uncles, grandparents, cousins, neighbours and friends.
A huge amount of messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Kerry, with one mourner writing,
"My deepest sympathy to Kerry’s husband Dhani, her beautiful baby girl Maya and all the extended Corcoran and Merrick family, especially to my dear friend Mairead. I know you are all so devastatingly heartbroken. Kerry was a beautiful woman and will be greatly missed by so many people. Thinking of you all in this difficult time and after".

Another message said, "Our sincere and heartfelt sympathies to you Dhani and little Maya, Julie, Kieran, Mikayla, and Kieran Jnr on this heartbreaking and sad time for you all.No words of ours can ease your pain, but just to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. A beautiful young lady taken far too soon.
"Condolences to the extended Corcoran and Merrick families, in-laws, partners, aunts, uncles, grandparents, relatives, neighbours and many many friends. May Kerry's beautiful soul rest in peace."
