The fate of major discount store Dealz' future in Ireland has been confirmed after it was revealed that over 30 stores across the UK.
Pepco, a polish-based retail group which owns Poundland, has said the closures form part of a major restructuring that will see nearly 70 stores across the UK confirmed to close by the end of 2025.

Poundland, which operates under the name Dealz in Ireland, has seen several branches closing within days and several more advertising major sales in-store.
Poundland's UK manager, Darren McDonald, has said,
"We know how disappointing it is when we leave a store, but before we close our doors for a final time, we're determines to say goodbye by offering even more amazing value to customers.
"The special reductions, on top of the value we provide in every store, will help us leave locations we're leaving with pride.

"And when we close our doors, we look forward to welcoming customers to one of the hundreds of Poundland stores we'll continue to operate right across the UK."
However, a spokesperson for Poundland has confirmed that the current restructuring scheme taking place in the UK will not affect any of it's 76 stores in Ireland.
