Gardaí and Jeremiah’s family are concerned for his wellbeing
Gardaí have issued an urgent missing person appeal for a 72-year old man from Sneem in Kerry.
They are seeking the public's assistance in locating Jeremiah Downing who was reported missing from his home since Thursday, January 1.
Jeremiah was last seen on Tuesday 30th December 2025, at approximately 3pm.
A Garda spokesperson has described Jeremiah as being over 6 feet in height, with a medium build. He has grey hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, Jeremiah was wearing dark clothing, including a brown jacket and dark trousers.
According to Gardaí, he is also known to frequent the Castlecove area of Co. Kerry.
Gardaí and Jeremiah’s family are concerned for his wellbeing. Gardaí are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them immediately.
Anyone with information on Jeremiah’s whereabouts is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on (064) 667 1160, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
