Flights from Dublin to parts of USA cancelled amid snow storm on east coast
A number of flights from Dublin Airport to parts of America have been cancelled as the country battles a snow storm on the east coast.
Storm Hernando is affecting the area between New England and Philadelphia, with some places seeing up to a metre of snow, according to The Irish Times.
Seven flights outbound and six inbound have been cancelled.#

A Delta Airlines flight at 10:45am to New York JFK has been cancelled.
As have the Aer Lingus flights at 11:15am and 4:40pm to New York JFK.
The 11:30am Delta Air Lines flight and the Aer Lingus 11:40am and 4:45pm flights to Boston have also been cancelled.
The 9:30am United Airlines flight to Newark, New Jersey was also cancelled this morning.
The 2:45pm flight from Shannon to Boston will not go ahead either.

Six flights from JFK, Newark, and Boston that were due to arrive to Dublin today have been cancelled as well.
According to USA Travel Today, over 8,000 flights to and from America have been affected.
Dublin Airport is advising passengers to check with their airline before making their way to the airport if they are due to fly in the next few days.
