National No Smoking Day at Sligo Regional Hospital next Wednesday

Not only is next Wednesday, February 18th ‘Ash Wednesday’, it is also National No Smoking Day.

To mark the occasion, the Smoking Cessation Service are hosting an all-day open event in the main foyer at Sligo General Hospital.

All those who are interested in finding out more information in relation to any aspect of smoking or want to find out what is available to assist those who wish to quit can do so on the day.

Free information, advice and health screenings will be on offer from experienced smoking cessation specialists.

Organisers would also like to advise those intending on visiting, that electronic cigarettes are prohibited in the foyer.
