Join Leitrim's greatest and “Help Build the Leitrim Wall”

When Pakie McGarty was asked would he buy a brick in the Leitrim Wall he replied: ‘Why wouldn’t I?’ And that’s when the fun began.

How does a legend who played with Leitrim from 1949-1971 sum up in a few words a lifetime’s contribution at club and county level?

How does one of the greatest players of the game capture the memories he made for himself and so many others?

In the end Pakie and his family came up with the perfect inscription for a man who always played with a smile on his face.

“Pakie McGarty: Proud to wear Leitrim Jersey. Loved playing.”

So, get thinking about your personalised brick or the message on the Leitrim Wall that you want to gift to a loved one. It might take a few minutes, but it will last for a lifetime. It’s the gift that will continue to give for years to come, and you could even end up beside a legend like Pakie McGarty!
