The recently opened Luna restaurant in Dromahair has been named as one of the Top 30 Italians places to dine in Ireland.
The list compiled by the Irish Independent’s Katy McGuiness for the Life Magazine includes some well known names such as Unicorn by Fiorentina and Paulie’s in Dublin, Campo de Fiori in Wicklow and Italee in Cork and many more established venues around the country.
Luna not only makes the top 30, but is placed at number 10 on the list.
The article notes that although “Bernadette O’Shea’s little restaurant is not entirely Italian, it does serve the excellent pizzas that have been Ms O’Shea’s trademark since she ran the legendary Truffles in Sligo back in the 1990s.”
The restaurant on Main Street, Dromahair offers dishes from around the world. The food critic gives special mention to the pear and blue cheese dish, cannelloni and polenta and comments “the offering here is just that little bit different.”
